Welcome to our new monthly feature: Your EDM’s Best Remix of the Month. In a month filled up with bootleg after bootleg of both “Bad & Boujee” and “Shape of You,” it was actually an official remix by French super-group Slow Hours of What So Not that won the month.
The group itself is made up of six (!!!) French DJs – many of whom have been featured on the site – Khamsin, Kidswaste, Kultur, Lain, Astre, and Rusty Hook. Per editor-in-chief Matt Meadow, the sextet flipped “Lone” from an “originally placid and tranquil trap tune into a complex bass banger.” Bass music fans should definitely be on look out for more to come from this newly formed supergroup!
