The current situation in Baltimore tends to only incite feelings of anxiousness and pessimism, but here we find a bright spot to help us forget the unrest. The New York Times published an article regarding the six police officers, whose crimes include murder and manslaughter, who were charged for the death of 25 year-old Freddie Gray. A little to the right of the picture’s center, you can see a young, purple-haired protestor wearing a Bassnectar tee.
Bassnectar is renowned for being an advocate of peaceful spirituality, so this picture is sure to bring warmness to his heart. In a time of great distress, we can all take solace in the fact that these protestors are uniting, regardless of race or ethnicity, to promote the same eccentric goals as EDM, peace and unity.
