TBMA surprised me with their new original “Wide Eyed.” After having a listen, you understand why the name of the song is what it is. The collaboration with Wind In Sails is simply magical. I haven’t been really impressed by chill dub like this (aside from Said The Sky), so to hear something that is so touching is refreshing. With soft synths and growling basses, they manage to express vivid emotions that are further catalyzed by the accompanying sounds. With Summer ending, this track comes at a perfect time to ease us into the more reserved part of the year. However, this song doesn’t hold anything back by any means. TBMA delivered a special record that I’ll be coming back to again and again. Will you? Most likely. Especially since it’s free, you can keep it forever.
