Never fear, more booty tech from Chicago duo Intermodal is here! They have just dropped a fresh EP via Onelove, and it’s got those funky future vibes that Intermodal have made their own. Mr Business is a two-track EP that will satisfy your need for some groovy bassline house.
The title track opens with guttural vocals that give way to a dark rhythm supported by eery, sliding synths. “The Bounce” ups the tempo, builds in complexity, then wanes momentarily before bringing in minimal wobble over a jumpy bassline. The second half of the tune amps up the energy for a strong finish to a solid EP. This is music that makes you put your head down low and your shoulders up high.
