In a production competition who would win: Bassnectar or God?
Trick Question. Bassnectar is god.
With every new Bassnectar album release comes the anticipation of one of the hottest tours fans will ever be able to see. Improving upon perfection is commonplace for the bass baron, who after years on the road keeps finding new and exciting ways to remain one of the best live performances and audio/visual displays crowds can find. Leaving a trail of sold out show after sold out show, Lorin hardly stops to catch his breath. The rare 6 month hiatus he took to concentrate on writing music and releasing this album also means there was 6 months for his team to dream and scheme the wonderment that will be the Noise vs. Beauty tour.
Known for crystal clear sound systems and bass that rattles nails out of building foundations, Bassnectar and his team spare no expense to bring you a show unlike anything you’ve ever seen. Seeing him by himself where he and his team have curated the entire environment, from picking the venue, to bringing in his sound system, to using their audio/visual equipment and team of experts who are in their element–it’s just no comparison to the constraints he’s held to when he headlines a major festival. If you have never seen Bassnectar on his own tour, you have never really seen Bassnectar. In a league of his own, he is an artist who puts on a quasi-religious experience you must see every time he comes to your town.
Always bringing along an arsenal of amazing artists, another talent Bassnectar holds in is introducing the next big thing to hit the airwaves. This tour he’s bringing along some established artists as well as a few you may not be so familiar with: Kill Paris, Son of Kick, GriZ, Paper Diamond and my personal favorite addition Lindsay Lowend.
