Live City is an act we have covered rather extensively in the past, and it’s not looking like we’re letting up. Recently, the duo had two releases on major labels, being both Atlantic Records and Columbia Records. It’s not everyday you see an electronic act releasing something under just one of those imprints, but these cats bagged both.
The most recent release was for Crystal Fighters, whose single “Love Alight” was just waiting for a kick ass remix. Enter Live City to the rescue. This one is an interesting progressive take; no matter what genre they delve into, they always manage to keep it fresh and take the sound to new heights. Next, we have the duo’s remix for Magic Man, which is just a straight up anthem, let me tell you. Riveting arpeggios burst the bliss onto the listener after a long, yet eventful introduction.
