Their collaboration is an electro sensation. Germany’s Moguai and Italy’s Benny Benassi have come together on a new track called “Gangsta”. Released on Ultra Music, this new tune from two of house music’s greatest titans is incredible when considering how both artists have recently released fantastic music throughout the year and this one is no different. Earlier this month, Benny Benassi delivered “Shooting Helicopters” which combined electro house with former member of System Of A Down and alternative rock vocalist Serj Tankian. Meanwhile, Moguai topped the Beatport charts with fan favorite “ACIIID” earlier this year and had his collaboration with Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike “Mammoth” receive its own vocalized version after a year and a half from when the original version released on Spinnin Records.
Now, “Gangta” may not be the shining, super-duper track people would expect when they see two all-star names together credited for one song. However, what these two dance-music mobsters create is the future staple of their main stage sets that turns heads, moves feet, and goes hard. It starts off by flashing off its innate grittiness with sift kicks and while holding itself back from fully exploding. It offers a catchy, pluck-lead melody and in the fashion similar to Benny’s older electro house style, this song’s drop uses a growling bass line that may not be the hardest thing you’ve heard, but it gets the job done. This song is another fantastic addition to Moguai’s and Benny Benassi’s respective discographies.
