ONHELL Rethinks Future Bass with Simple Stare EP

onhell

Angel Rubio Hale, AKA ONHELL, is yet another supremely talented producer emerging from the fog banks of Northern California. His sound is multifaceted and versatile, a sexy yet somber blend of RnB, hip-hop, future bass, and psycahdelic, ambient beats. ONHELL showcases his skill over the course of his latest release, the Simple Stare EP, which was recently released via Muti Music.

This is the second official EP release for the young producer and he definitely brought his A-game, as the vibes contained within these seven tracks are indescribable. ‘Every Night’ draws you in with a hyphy, trapped out feel and the low-end fun doesn’t stop there; tracks like ‘Tacenda’ and ‘Elle’ keep things upbeat and weird, letting the bass and glitchy percussion patterns do the talking. Our personal favorite is ‘Catalyst’, a melodic, emotional tune that has ‘future bass anthem’ written all over it. Overall, Simple Stare is a powerful statement of this young artist’s capabilities. The EP has already received support from plenty of heavy hitters in the scene, including Gent & Jawns. If you’re digging the sounds of ONHELL, be sure to grab a copy of Simple Stare on Beatport and show him some love!
