One of the more impressive up-and-coming producers in melodic dubstep, Volant, has just released a fresh new remix as “a thank you for the ongoing support.” The remix is of Lisa Miskovsky, the song is the main theme of the popular game “Mirror’s Edge.”
The original is already a beautiful and melodic tune, so giving it a more electronic feel while keeping that melody and emotion present should not be too great of a challenge. Nonetheless, Volant rose to the occasion and really showcased Miskovsky’s vocals as if they were made specifically for this remix. The build up has some resemblance to hard trance, but the drop is all about that melodic dub.
