So, apparently Madonna can DJ. Or so, that’s what has been covered by websites since an Instagram video has surfaced from Jeremy Scott’s after party with her on stage with Diplo and Skrillex. One thing I don’t see her do in the video is DJ, though. She’s in the booth dancing while the two producers do their thing, but apparently that is enough to count as Djing these days. Numerous sites, including Billboard, stated that she Djed the after party. That totally could be true, however, no other evidence has been brought forward regarding the matter, which brings into question why the headlines stated that she played and that she even had skills (not saying she doesn’t). Luckily, we have this, along with some extra information regarding two of the individuals in the video. Skrillex is not one of them.
Diplo has been in the studio with Madonna, who is currently working on her album, which is set to be released in 2015. The random white dude who be everywhere has had studio time with her in the past and some material from these two will make it on the album. It has yet to be established whether or not he is one of the executive producers, however, the simple fact that they have music together is good enough for me.
