Chicago-based producer Zeros is set to release his debut album, Space Noir, under Feed Me‘s new label Sotto Voce.
Feed Me swooped Zeros for his label due to his ability to “[push] the show beyond DJing and [look] for new technology,” and Zeros’ creativity shows through the concept of his album. The album is likened to old noir films, where a tense action scene is juxtaposed with patches of dead air. 
“When writing for a long time, there’s often intense feelings of isolation and detachment from the world and people around you. You begin to feel like the main character in your own story. I wanted to tell the story of the liquored up detective punching keys on a typewriter, silhouetted behind frosted glass, but with a musician and a keyboard instead,” explains Zeros on his new album.
Presale for Space Noir is still ongoing, and each presale purchase will come with Zero’s “Red Panda (Original Mix)” and “Red Panda (Minimal mix)” (both of which you can hear below). The album will be out September 22.
