After drawing controversy from the decision to ban CamelBaks and increased/invasive drug control, the NYC EZoo curse continues.
Another Day 3 cancellation of Electric Zoo New York took place Sunday, but due to severe weather this time instead of drug-related deaths.
Held on Randall’s Island, promoters and city organizers ultimately came to the decision to cancel the last day of the event and evacuate the site with looming high winds and dangerous storm conditions.
“Electric Zoo will offer refunds for Sunday only ticket holders, the Sunday portion for 2 day ticket holders, and the Sunday portion for 3 day ticket holders. We regret that we had to make the tough decision in collaboration with NYC city officials to evacuate Sunday’s show, with no re-entry, due to dangerous and severe weather conditions, including lightning strikes and high winds.”
