Today, I share with you yet another amazing production from Slinger, who remixed “Oblivion” by Bastille for the EP that goes by the same name. You hear breaks right from the start and throughout this soft liquid piece of music you get the riveting rhythms of percussion offset by more subtle structures provided by most everything else. From the vocals to the melody and beyond, Slinger put together one incredible production that is now added to his quality lot. I see this song as being an oxymoron; the song can be both relaxing and invigorating all at the same time. You can pop headphones in and take yourself to new heights, or you can get your body involved and moving. Slinger produced nothing short of an anthem with this one. This is the song that will make getting through the end of the week the most easy.
