Well, it’s finally here; the official video of Skrillex completely killing it at Red Rocks (aka his “favorite venue in the world) during his infamous Mothership tour is finally available. It’s a true spectacle watching Skrillex completely take control of thousands of people like this as he plays everything from dubstep and electro house, to trap, glitch hop, and hip-hop. All at the same time, you’ll find yourself getting goosebumps and involuntarily head-banging to the monstrous tunes that Sonny relentlessly drops one after the other.
One of the best things about Skrillex’ live playing is that he’s never afraid to play other people’s tunes, which keeps his sets fresh and unique. Don’t get me wrong, his album Recess got its fair share of airtime, along with classics like “Bangarang” and “First Of The Year,” but there are tunes in there by Diplo, Dillon Francis, DJ Snake, What So Not, RL Grime, and more.
