This week we got two releases from Hardwell‘s label Revealed Recordings. The big single was the piano, vocal, and emotional track “Lost & Found” by Sick Individuals. But, Revealed had a little more to offer with a new EP series titled Dannic Selection: Part 1, which contain new tracks handpicked by Revealed’s second-hand man Dannic. One thing to keep in mind is that although this EP does not contain any originals from Dannic, it does hold some incredible progressive house gems that he has played in many of his live shows including his phenomenal set at Creamfields.
Three tracks from three talented acts fill the roster with tremendous sound. First up, we have “Combat” by Tom & Jame which sets the tone of the whole EP with spicy vigor. Tom & Jame, who’ve been building their resumé with tracks on labels like Oxygen, SPRS, Deal, and Big & Dirty, display their production prowess through orchestral chords and blaring bass. To follow up, Flatdisk returns to the Revealed Recordings stage with “Horus”; an Egyptian-inspired track with high-octane energy ready to unleash itself. Previously, Flatdisk appeared on Reveal Recording’s 2014 Miami Sampler and on 3LAU and Paris & Simo‘s remix package of their hit song “Escape” featuring Bright Lights. If this is truly a choice song from Dannic and they’ve appeared on the label before, then this track is definitely worth a listen. Last, but not least, is a completely new face to the scene named Mydo. Hailing from Helsingborg, Sweden, he presents us with his first banger “Benidorm” that entices listeners with a rampage of plucks and an onslaught of kicks.
