Make Your Opinion Known For This Months Final ‘Fresh Face Friday’

Fresh Face Friday

It marks two months since, “Fresh Face Friday” made its debut on Your EDM. I want to dedicate a few sentences to shout out both the artists that were brave enough to showcase their music, and those that vote time and time again. We’ve had tremendous results to this point and every week we mark a new level of participation within the contest. With that being said, here is the second consecutive month of Fresh Face Friday Monthly!

Gryn – Tyrant

Comprised of two Los Angeles based producers; my dudes Alex and Ethan started producing together while attending school. They pull inspiration from both G-House and Deep House genres and are often paired with artists like Shiba San and Low Steppa. Their song Tyrant features really light drums that are layered with a beautifully designed house pluck that act in unison to get your foot tapping and form an endless groove.

Audio Rock – Mamba

With a new take on Big Room, as I see it, Audio Rock comprised of Taylor and Marc have a passion for House music that can be traced back to before the start of Audio Rock in 2010. Since their debut as a duo the two have come a long way from just being passionate towards the scene. These fellas have successfully released songs through Beatport and continue to gain momentum and support all around the EDM scene.

Myüzak – Hero

Lastly featured but number one in the masses, my buddy Zach otherwise known as Myüzak from Southern California drew inspiration for “Hero” through his old school Metal and Hip-hop roots, which would explain the trap-ish breakdown after the first verse. “There’s nothing more soothing in the world to me than running my fingers up and down a fret board” Zach told me after stating guitar is his, “main melody machine”. Well something’s working in his favor as the melody in this one is extremely catchy.

As always I hope you enjoyed the music we’ve showcased for Fresh Face Friday. Go ahead and take a second to decide from the above which one you liked the most and vote below. Remember to be opinionated as the winner will move on to the final round at the end of the quarter.
