Unless you don’t use Twitter, most of you must have heard that MTV (which stands for Music Television, believe it or not) hosted their yearly Video Music Awards or VMAs for short. Amongst the slew of Rock and Hip Hop categories, EDM had its own version dubbed as the Clubland award (just shows you how truly detached MTV is from EDM, Clubland? Really?). Well the winner of the 2014 Clubland award was…drum roll….Zedd and Hayley Williams with “Stay the Night.”
The other nominees for the category were Calvin Harris for “Summer”, Martin Garrix with “Animals”, Disclosure with “Grab Her!” and last but not least DJ Snake & Lil Jon for “Turn Down For What”

I am so happy he won, “Stay The Night” is a beautiful song with a beautiful melody and chord progression, not just a cool track like “Animals” or “Turn Down For What”. Please don’t be hating on me, it’s just my opinion.
