Just as the ALS ice bucket challenge took the tech industry by storm a few days ago, it now seems to be spreading like wildfire amongst the ranks of the top DJs. Tiesto kicked it off in high fashion with a flashy and over the top display of everything Vegas. Calvin Harris then followed suit with an amusingly overly simple submission and finally we have Martin Garrix. The young 17 year old star decided to take it one step further and got buried alive up to his neck in sand before getting soaked. The even more exciting aspect of his submission are Martin’s nominations, which are Dillon Francis, Ed Sheeran and the King of his country, Willem Alexander. Dillon Francis and Ed will most likely rise up to the occasion, but it remains to be seen whether the King of Netherlands will actually accept the challenge.
Note: Just like Tiesto, even though Martin did get soaked, he will also be be making a donation to the ALS Association.
