Captain Murphy, for those who don’t know, is the alter ego for the producer Flying Lotus. With so much talent packed into one man, he had to dish it out between characters. His rap alias was unknown until after the release of the Duality mixtape, but his beginnings were still a mystery. That is, until Adult Swim made the revelation through a new video that shows just how this cat came to be. The video is a pretty outrageous one, fitting with the Adult Swim style 100%. I won’t ruin any of the tale, you’ll just have to watch it for yourself and see how a legend is born.
