Cazzette‘s deep house experiment Sleepless, featuring vocoded lyrics by The High, has received a progressive house remix treatment by multi-genre producer Luke Shay and YouTube-famous pianist Evan Duffy. Together, they’ve transformed the original laidback beat into a summery anthem with a piano part by Evan that rivals those of many other tracks. As a producer, I can say that working a unique chord progression into the acapella provided by Cazzette for the remix competition is no easy feat, however Luke and Evan have succeeded in doing that and pulling it off quite well.
