I have been going crazy as of late, so I’ve been on the lookout for something to chill me out. I’ve found a few things, but Two Can came to the rescue with their remix of “Long Way To Go” by Cassie. Pop and EDM are ever colliding, but their are remixes like this that pop up every once in a while that really get me excited for things to come. With a focus on melodic structures, Two Can provided a subtle composition where quality is valued much more than quantity. Even for “love trap,” this is chill. Which is just one of the many reasons why I have had this on repeat in the car all day. Now I’m home, and it’s still on. From the looks of the play count, a lot of people are in the same boat as me.
