Here’s something truly fresh and interesting. New York City based producer/DJ Imanos has just released a mix entitled Love Trap Vol 1 via Mad Decent, which focuses on the lighter, melodic, and relaxing side of the genre. The Luvstep mixes by Dirty South Joe and Flufftronix, which have come out on Valentine’s Day for the past few years, are some of all my all-time favorites and this mix parallels everything I like about those. Soothing vocals, calming notes, and loving vibes. Not necessarily tracks for the clubs, this mix is perfect for just relaxing or even better, listening to with that special someone.
