Wild man and partier extraordinaire Steve Aoki took some time to chat with Hip Hop Vibe about the making of his highly anticipated two-part album Neon Future. He also spoke of his upcoming and career defining Madison Square Garden show on August 16th and all of the top tier artists he’s collabing with in the future: Waka Flocka, Empire of the Sun, Will.i.am., Flux Pavilion, Afrojack and Fall Out Boy to only name a few.
He reminisces about how his album Wonderland took him 4 years to finish whereas this album took him only a few months. He laid out the tracks and then spent the remaining months focusing on his work with other artists and vocalists to really turn his ideas into well-rounded songs.
