Being a music star is hard work. Not every musician, singer, or songwriter elevates to the big time like many of the artists that we know and love today. Many struggle just to make a profit from playing or creating their own music. However, that doesn’t mean we can’t help them achieve their dreams and push on for tomorrow.
To help the people in this situation, veteran DJ and producer Tiësto is currently part of a collaborative motion between Wondr and Sweet Relief Musicians Funds to give aid to the many musicians in need. Wondr is a fresh company that uses a private raffle method for nonprofit organizations to raise money and awareness of their causes in exchange for exclusive prizes for winners of the raffle. In this case, all the money from the fundraiser will go to a financial support for less fortunate musicians called Sweet Relief Musicians Funds (SRMF). This relief program serves as a great cause and also supported by celebrity musicians such as 30 Seconds To Mars, Beyonce, Cage The Elephant, Calvin Harris, Fall Out Boy, Imagine Dragons, and Justin Timberlake. It also includes support from non-musician folk including Bryan Cranston, Jay Leno, and Charlie Sheen to name a few.
The first raffle Wondr will be campaigning offers an incredible grand prize for contestants. One lucky participant and a friend will be flown all the way to Las Vegas to meet Tiësto backstage and see his performance at Hakkasan Nightclub on June 20th. Everything from the round-trip flights and hotel accommodations will be apart of all the donations the SRMF will receive to generate their cause. To enter the raffle, check their newly constructed website here and keep in mind that when you enter (starting at $1) that your participation is for a good cause.
