UPDATE: Following deadmau5, is now Zedd who will be taking over Avicii’s spot on April 18th while the mau5 will appear on the 25th.
Due to unfortunate medical complications last week Avicii was unable to perform at Ultra Music Festival, but the world got a silver lining in the form of Deadmau5‘ amazing (and hilarious) stand-in performance complete with ‘Levels’, ‘Animals’, and ‘Old McDonald’. 
Well hopefully the people of Las Vegas are ready to get Mau5’d because Avicii’s scheduled performance dates at the historic XS nightclub have been postponed, with Deadmau5 once again stepping up to the plate as replacement. A quick scroll through Mr. Zimmerman’s Twitter account will show that the masked mouse is no fan of mainstream EDM culture, so it will be interesting to see how he reacts to playing one of the most stereotypical “club environments” in America while filling in for one of the most popular progressive house DJ’s in the world. Our bet? It’s going to include a lot of trolling.
