It’s been a year since Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Steve Angello ended the reign of the biggest super group in electronic dance music with fireworks, music, and fans. Since then, the former members of the Swedish House Mafia have been running their respective careers with new music, residencies, and touring. Although their lives as a tenacious trio seems to have met an early end, their legacy lives on.
Even after a year ‘without Swedish House Mafia’, they have announced the upcoming release of a new live album. It is set to go hand-in-hand with their upcoming Leave The World Behind: The Movie documentary and is taken from their second to last live performance (or their third to last live performance if you count their appearance at Ultra 2013’s first weekend) which took place in Los Angeles at the Masquerade Motel. If you still mourn the departure of the gentlemen who came, who raved, who loved, then pick up the album expected to come out April 15th.
