As spring is finally starting to rear its head up, it’s time to re-examine the feel of the music we’re listening to. It might be time to switch gears into a more flighty, melodic sound, and Popeska absolutely delivers with his remix of Panic! At The Disco’s “This Is Gospel.” The fantastic vocals of Brendan Urie are kept mostly intact with the intro now having this really funky groove to it. The punky guitar riffs in the chorus are replaced with heavier basslines as it drops into a trappy mix with a synth that just screams spring time.
Popeska apparently has a real admiration for Panic!, as he mentioned on Facebook that this might not be the only remix of the group that will be coming out. He also felt “obligated” to give this one away for free, so grab it HERE.
