Now, if you know anything about me, you know that I don’t “do” drum n’ bass. I completely respect it in all of it’s musicality, but I just don’t have the ear for it and can’t stand it live, it just kills my vibe. However, when I, very reluctantly mind you, checked out this track I had to express my legitimately impressed response.
Featuring the smooth, killer vocals of A$AP Rocky over intricately mapped synths feeding off the characteristic drum n’ bass drum patterns, one can not only vibe to this remix, but truly get down. It’s softer feel helps transcend the genre, yet still remain true to form. Filthy breakdowns, quirky vocal chops, solid production.
