Over the past few months the upcoming Montreal artist Eekkoo has been tearing things up. When his impressive three piece EP caught the attention of none other than Deadmau5, things certainly brightened up a lot for the producer, even though his music is pretty dark. With overall distinguishing factors to his production like driving tech house melodies and grooving beats, Eekkoo’s 2014 looks to be a successful one.
After his strong EP release on Mau5trap, Eekkoo wasted no time in getting back into the studio to bring us his next masterpiece. Today sees the release of a free track titled “Kyng”. The song has an underlying groove, superb sound design and attention to detail in the production work, and definitely re-affirms that Eekkoo is one to watch this year.
