The Australian duo Luke Steele and Nick Little, better known as Empire of the Sun, have been rising since their internationally acclaimed debut album in 2008, Walking on a Dream, with the inertia pushing forward even passed their second album, Ice on the Dune, to today. Empire of the Sun joined forces with several artists to give “Celebrate,” one of the tracks off of Ice on the Dune, a massive remix treatment in the form of two volumes.
The second volume features a remix by fellow Aussie Hook N Sling, who transforms the soft rock-electro original into a chill, progressive house track. The faster tempo, the repetitive motif underneath the airy vocals and the hold-your-breath buildup that leads to a subtle bass-driven drop gives a new sense of energy to the original version. 
Volume one of “Celebrate” will be out today, February 18, and volume two will follow the week after on February 25.
