One of the most difficult assignments many artists are tasked with is remixing songs far outside their genre. However, Axel and Leonardo took it upon themselves to transform James Blunt‘s folk-pop piece “Bonfire Heart” into a progressive-house gem. Fortunately, they nailed it. Flatdisk take the rock star’s voice and fit it precisely before a monumental build of pounding drums and piercing synths. The tension releases with an electro flurry of head-banging material and the preview ends with fans like myself anticipating much more.
