Hospital Records, the brainchild of Tony Colman and Chris Goss, which was originally founded in 1996 during the early days of the Drum & Bass genre, has spent nearly a decade establishing itself as a tastemaker and leading force behind the genre. The imprints’ openness to experimentation has cultivated the diverse sounds, structures and sonic design thats continued to push the genre to new heights.
After eighteen years of Drum & Bass excellence from the likes of Netsky, S.P.Y, Camo & Krooked and many more amazing and talented producers on both the main label and Med School, Hospital Records celebrates it’s aniversary by looking to the bright future of the genre with “We Are 18” a compilation chocked full of 29 brand new songs and remixes from Hospital artists of new and old. Ranging from calming and relaxing to bangers it showcases the wide range of sounds in Drum & Bass.
Highlights of the album include Etherwood‘s remix of “All Night” by Camo & Krooked, “Legacy” by Metrik and Friction, and “Love Life” by Netsky.
