It’s a new year, a new you, and today we were donned with new sounds from Nashville’s Wick-it the Instigator. For 2014 Wick-it decided to try something a little bit different by dropping a 125bpm funky genre-bending house remix of Blur’s “Song 2.” This number is a step in a different direction for the DJ and producer who is known for his unique blend of trap and dubstep. Wick-it still uses all of his signature screaming bass sounds but gives the 90’s alternative rock hit a four on the floor beat with trap-like drum fills that are wrapped up by a sexy half time groove at the end.
