UK-based duo Astronaut is back on Monstercat after a stellar debut EP, this time with two incredibly melodic electro house bangers alongside a remix from rising star MitiS. Once again, Astronaut delivers some aggressive, bass-heavy tracks in both “Quantum” and “Rain,” which feature wonderful vocals that compliment them beautifully. MitiS, who is a classically trained pianist, takes the melodic feel of the “Rain” to the next level and it makes for one of the catchiest melodic dubstep tunes I’ve heard in a while.
This EP release also coincides with a new music video that continues the story told in their first music video for “Apollo,” which you really need to check out if you haven’t already. Needless to say, the amount of work put into the music and visuals is impressive and shows that these two are something special. Check out the music video below and buy a copy on itunes!
