Joining the ranks of the BBC Radio 1 Residents were some of the biggest producers in the electronic music scene right now. Nervo and Steve Angello both kicked off this month’s rotation, with a guest mix from Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman featured in Angello’s set.
The Nervo twins stuck to the classic Beatport Top 100 formula, playing a combination of songs from Alesso, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Showtek. Along with their own productions, they opened with Prok & Fitch and Simon Doty’s “Diva.”

Steve Angello followed Nervo for the first episode of residency mixes, providing the listeners with a darker set. With tracks from Umek & Hartik and Galantis, he surprisingly played only one track from SIZE records. Featuring a techno-based set, it greatly fit the time slot.
Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman stuck with the SIZE Records playlist, and also played Lycka from Pryda. Along with playing some of Steve Angello’s tracks, they started their mix with “Zonk.”
