We’ve been keeping an eye on Staten Island’s Zaxx ever since he surfaced in 2013 by having his tracks played out by Hardwell, Martin Garrix, and Victor Niglio. Yesterday he sent us an original collaboration with France’s Merzo, entitled “Predator” and we were blown away by the scale of sounds.
This big room electro number carries a ton of weight and lands on one of the most unique drops out there. It may sound foreign to some at first, but the side chaining effect on the drop gives the synth an incredible bounce that will make you forget all about the percussive plucking of 2013.
