As we kicked off the new year, we unfortunately slipped into the dreaded “pre-festival” season. The Bloody Beetroots’ Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo, however, has a little something to lift out spirits: Since we’re in the giving season and all, Sir Bob decided to give us a free tune. “Til Death,” his first original since Hide, combines trap-style drums and notorious vocal shots with blissful orchestral synths and bells. The elements of the tune, though diverse, come together perfectly with Lisa Kekaula’s soul-influenced vocals. Sir Bob manages to mold the track into the beautiful beast that it is, showing us that he still has some studio time under his belt.
