The Duo TNGHT Calls It Quits

TNGHT - Your EDM

The duo of Hudson Mohawke and Lunice known more predominately as TNGHT have announced that they will be pursuing solo careers and unfortunately putting the alias they so diligently worked to create to rest. The news came about just days ago with a series of thought provoking announcements from TNGHT. The first hint of the split came from an enticingly Sci-Fi, but rather dark video posted on Facebook titled Waning Moon. It features small snipits of the group at various live performances accompanied by similar sounds of slow moving machinery and the two thanking a crowd. Not long after, another graphic was released of the popular quarter moon logo the group uses, covered in clouds  and a post titled “Until Next Time…”.

The two fellas achieved so much fame with the success of their “TNGHT” Ep featuring tracks like “Higher Ground” and “Gooo” which elevated them into the EDM and Pop community allowing them to work with artists such as Skrillex, Rockie Fresh, Drake and others. The two even contributed to Kayne West’s “Yeezus” album which with their efforts ultimately landed them both separate contracts with Kayne’s G.O.O.D Music. There is no official word as to why they have decided to split into solo endeavors but LuckyMe Records has confirmed that TNGHT is “being wrapped up for now” says FACT.
