As festival season is nearly upon us, it can be easy to lose track of all the festival news and lineups that are released. Every week we will recap the important festival news that happened the past week, and make sure you keep up to date with all the ins and outs of festivals around the globe. 1. Ultra Music Festival Goes To Columbia
Ultra Music Festival will be continuing it’s global domination with it’s Road To Ultra. This time Ultra announced it will be going to Bogota, Colombia Febuary 20-21 of 2014. (Read more HERE) 
2. Electric Daisy Carnival Mexico: Video Teaser & Announcement
From Las Vegas to Mexico, Insomniac Events will now travel down to Mexico in 2014 making its first festival appearance of Electric Daisy Carnival. Insomniac anticipates the festival-goers with this teaser trailer for what will be in store for them next year.EDC Mexico will take place March 15-16 2014 at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez. 3. Electric Zoo Mexico Confirmed
A few days ago we brought you the news that Electric Zoo was expected to expand to Mexico and today we can finally confirm that it will indeed happen. Made Event’s flagship festival, Electric Zoo, will leave New York for warmer lands down in Mexico City. The new event will span 2 days, from May 3rd to the 4th of 2014. (Read more HERE)
4. Ultra Music Festival Released Phase 1 Line Up
Released earlier this week, the long list of names will satisfy all EDM fans with an expansive range of talents. Whether you like house, trap, big room, dubstep or moombahton they have you covered. They even threw in a few surprising names in there that will accompany the already announced live and DJ headliners of people like Armin Van Buuren, Above & Beyond and MGMT.
5. Electric Forrest 2014 Dates & Official Aftermovie
The return to Sherwood Forest will take place just under a week after EDC Vegas June 26-29 2014. Insomniac will be instituting it’s loyalty program they put in place for EDC Vegas where festival goers who purchased tickets in 2013 will have a 24 hour window before everyone to purchase their early bird tickets. The loyalty tickets will go on sale January 6th, then regular on sale tickets will go on sale January 7th. Tickets for Electric Forest 2014 can be purchased with a layaway plan with only putting 10% down. (Read more HERE)
