Coming back to the internet after a weekend off meant I missed a lot, but what I didn’t miss was Filtercrush and Anna Yvette‘s latest release of “Visions.” Big Fish Recordings snatched this song up and I have no problem seeing why. This hard house banger is just in time for the NYE festivals that are almost literally around the corner.
I think many of us have experienced the situation that the lyrics tell of. Anna’s vocals, as always, are sensational; getting her on a track instantly adds a whole lot of value. The melody is simple yet extremely effective and the use of counterpoint gives the song some musical depth, especially after the second chorus develops.
