Seven months ago when trap music was quickly beginning to blossom in popularity, Oh Snap!! unleashed his trapped out remix of Dimitri Vegas & Like Mikes‘ record “Madness”. Well after months of waiting, this remix and a host of others have finally been released as part of the Madness Remixes. It’s interesting to see how trap has already begun to evolve from more aggressive versions of “crunkstep” to cater and coalesce with the ever so popular big room sound of today. This remix is energetic, rowdy and chock full of horns and snares but honestly after months of not being released, the style and sound of this remix strike me as somewhat out of place.
