EDM’s Calvin Harris, The Chainsmokers, Major Lazer and DJ Snake have all made music streaming history among Spotify’s top streamed of the last 10 years. Their names are amongst many more hitmakers of all genres including Drake, Justin Bieber, Kanye West, Rihanna, Eminem, Ed Sheeran and more.
At the time of this post, Spotify’s content has been streamed for over 16,858,080 years, with over 40,000,000 tracks, 2,000 genres, and over 3,000,000,000 playlists to choose from. The platform has approximately 180 million monthly active users.
That’s a lot of music streaming. Here’s to another decade of music.
