When one thinks of Steve Aoki, cake typically comes to mind — but today he’s all about pizza!
After much speculation (and stomach grumbling), his PizzAoki delivery service is finally here. Well, in LA at least. The worldwide DJ/producer may be best known for making music, but his culinary background is the perfect recipe to make this new food venture successful.
According to Eater Los Angeles, every PizzAoki pie starts with herb-filled dough and sauce specially crafted by Aoki’s mother, Chizuru Kobayashi aka “Mama Aoki.” Our mouths are already watering. The Mayhem pizza, just as an example, boasts 10 different Aoki-selected toppings. 
The food business definitely runs in the family. Steve Aoki’s father Hiroaki Aoki founded Benihana, a sushi and Japanese steakhouse, in 1963. He passed away in 2008, but surely would be proud his son is carrying on the tradition.
PizzAoki orders are made out of Cloud Kitchens in collaboration with restaurant group Family Style Inc. Delivery is available through UberEats and Postmates from 4 p.m. until 2 a.m. Sunday through Wednesday, and 4 p.m. until 4 a.m. Thursday through Saturday.
BRB… We need to order some pizza stat.
