If you haven’t already heard the beauty in Post Malone‘s “Stay,” it’s going to be hard to deny that it exists once you hear this cover from Grabbitz.
As one of the more feelsy tracks on the rapper’s brand new, game-changing sophomore album beerbongs & bentleys, “Stay” already plays out with an airy, acoustic nature. Grabbitz strips it down even further, with only his layered vocals and a beautifully played grand piano backing the track.
What Across the Universe did for The Beatles’ music, is kind of what Grabbitz does here for Post Malone. It’s not like “Stay” needed to be covered (nor did The Beatles) — it’s already perfect. But, the producer hears it in a different way and offers up another perspective through which the track can be experienced. 
“Thank you Post for making one of my favorite songs,” Grabbitz wrote along with the upload. And, after receiving raving reviews on this “Stay” cover, he continued via Twitter, “I will continue to pour my soul into everything I do that’s a promise.”
Just, wow.
