When branding is as important as the music, it’s hard to beat the gold standard. Duo GoldLyfe have been slowly building up a collection of singles and have simultaneously been pushing their golden brand hard in anticipation of their debut single out now, “Crush It.”
Rather than an EDM tune, the track comes across as a heavy rock banger right up until the drop — it’s a sound we’ve actually been missing for a while now. That old school dubstep style wobble and bass, with a distinct metal influence á la Sullivan King, is definitely making a comeback in 2018.
This is only the beginning for GoldLyfe, so be sure to keep an eye on them as the year moves along.
