Instagram is testing out tons of new features that will take the photo sharing social platform to the next level!
Many of the tests will be met with excitement, especially the “regram” button — which will allow users to repost the photos and videos of other accounts to their page without a third-party app. Total game changer.
Other features being tested out by Instagram include a Stories archive, WhatsApp integration, GIF search for Stories, a “closest friends” list, top emojis and top hashtag searches. Some of the new features being tested go down in the dm, with the ability to pin threads and use emoji shortcuts. This all according to The Next Web.
Finally, there’s an “Add Coffee” option that sounds amazing, but no one seems to know what it means yet.
These are only tests, and there are no guarantees that Instagram will permanently implement any of these new features. However, it’s likely the most successful of the trials will be put into action. Be on the lookout for these secret tests via Instagram on Android and iOS.
