The Electronic Music Awards named AW “New Artist of the Year” last night, in a super competitive category including Kungs, Mura Masa, Marshmello, REZZ, and San Holo. Her debut album Run was a massive success, and another is on the way soon as the DJ/producer tours North America on her Fuck Me Up On A Spiritual Level tour.
The EMAs were broadcast live via Twitter from Los Angeles, CA last night, under the designated hashtag #EMAwards. Producers, DJs, and industry professionals joined together to celebrate the genre with the very first awards show exclusively for electronic music.
