The next time you’re on the fence about catching a show, just remember it’s good for your health… Concert-goers tend to live a happier life, according to a new study out of Australia!

“Music engagement and subjective wellbeing” investigated the relationship between exactly that. Researchers at Victoria’s Deakin University surveyed 1,000 people and found that those attending concerts, music festivals, or simply nights out dancing, reported high satisfaction with their lives.

The common denominator was musical experience! How awesome is that?

So maybe you’re second guessing yourself about going out (it’s been a long day), hitting up that festival (it’s kind of expensive), or going to see a DJ spin (it’s getting late) — Stop making excuses and let the music lead you to a happier, satisfied life!
