Justin Bieber has put forth his most magnetic dance track yet with “Friends” featuring BloodPop!
Reminiscent of his hit song “Sorry” and collaboration with Jack Ü, “Where Are Ü Now” — “Friends” also plays on chopped up, echoing vocals, but this time goes even deeper with a pulsing dance beat and purring bass line.
Producer BloodPop co-wrote multiple songs on Bieber’s 2015 album Purpose, and the duo’s undeniable chemistry can be heard at work in this new release as well.
Like we’ve come to expect from the Biebs, “Friends” dives into a lyrically-driven, vulnerable and revealing storyline. This time, he simply wonders, “Can we still be friends?”
There are no ulterior motives here, just a banging dance-ready track that deserves your attention!
