Most producers are self-taught, that much is true But, how many self-taught producers do you know also taught themselves how to play multiple instruments? I can’t think of many besides Australian whizkid FØRD who delivers an impressive new single “Shadows.”
“Shadows” swiftly moves between pop and bass music with its future bass-laced production driven by smooth vocal drop, lush synths and punchy kicks. The mysterious vocalist also impresses with her silky-smooth voice and sensual lyrics but don’t get it wrong, FØRD is very much the star of the show in this record.
